Yves Tamborini
Short Game Guru, CEO & Founder
Hello, my name is Yves Tamborini (born Nottebrock). I am a designer, web developer and passionate golfer. Short Game Guru is my idea and completely developed from me.
I started playing golf at the end of 2007 and played my first tournament at the beginning of 2008. Since 2012, I have been consistently playing a handicap smaller than 5, I'am Lower Saxony Mid-Am Champion Individual (2013)/Team (2016), Club Champion Mid-Am (2013/2015/2018/2020) and regularly play in the German Golf League for my home club Peine-Edemissen. The short game of golf is my passion. I love chipping. Over the years, I've started to think more and more about how to motivate and help golfers to learn the short game more effectively.
I have neither a training as a golf professional, nor a coaching license. But I have already gained a lot of experience as a supporting coach for beginners and experienced golfers. One day someone called me Short Game Guru. This remained positively in the memory. Later, I had the idea to develop a system to effectively train the short game in golf. The name was thus quickly decided: Short Game Guru.
With the web app solution Short Game Guru I developed, I want to help all golfers to improve their short game and thus their golf game. During the development I relied on the experience of various PGA pros and competitive golfers. The first Short Game Coach and supporter of the first hour is Jens Knoop at the Golf-Club Burgwedel. There also took place on 3.4.2017 the first release event as part of the OpenRange.
A very special thanks to my blonde angel Lena - thank you for your patience and the many support!
